This Privacy Policy describes the practices of Acryl Data, Inc. d/b/a DataHub (“DataHub,” “us,” or “we”) concerning the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information through our website acryl.io on acryldata.io (the “Site”).
Applicability of this Privacy Policy
As indicated above, this Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through our Site. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services, websites, or applications that we may link to through the Site. When you use one of these links to leave our Site, we encourage you to review the privacy policies that apply to the services, websites, or applications you choose to access.
If you are a customer who have paid us for a plan, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of our services. Our privacy and data security obligations to you are outlined in the additional terms and conditions we have with you. How We Collect and Use Information
DataHub collects the following information from you through the Site:
- Personal Information.
- What we collect: You may use and access the Site without providing us with any personal information. However, we may invite you to voluntarily submit certain personal information, such as your name, physical address, email address, and phone number. You may be asked to provide other optional information, such as general information about the data you collect, your company size, and other qualitative questions about your company.
- How we use it: We will use personal information you provide (i) for the purposes described to you in this Privacy Policy or at the time you provided us with the information; (ii) to respond to your inquiries; (iii) to evaluate a prospective business opportunity with you; (iv) to send you newsletters, publications, and other communications that may be of interest to you; (v) for internal business analytics, such as understanding the demographics of visitors to our Site; and (vi) other uses consistent with applicable law.
- Usage Information.
- What we collect: We may also automatically collect certain information regarding your access to and usage of the Site (“Usage Information”). We collect such information through the device you use to access and use the Site. We also collect Usage Information using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technology (collectively, “Tracking Technologies”). Usage Information includes, but is not limited to, your device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, MAC address, information the websites or application from which you navigated to our Site, the information you input into our Site (such as search terms in the search bar), pages you access on our Site, how long you spend on a particular page on our Site, any links you click on, and similar information. If you interact with our website chatbot, we also collect your interaction data and text in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- How we use it: We use Usage Information (i) to improve and customize the Site for users like you; (ii) to examine the effectiveness and response of visitors to information and content we put on our Site; (iii) for business analytics purposes, such as determining usage patterns on certain pages or features on our Site; (iv) for security and maintenance purposes; (v) for Tracking Technologies as described below; and (vi) other uses consistent with applicable law.
- Compliance. In addition to the purposes of use we have described above, we also use personal information to comply with our legal obligations, or, when it is our legitimate business interests, we may use personal information to:
- Comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities.
- Protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal claims).
- Audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements and internal policies.

- Prevent, identify, investigate and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity, including cyberattacks and identity theft.
Aggregate Information
We may use the information we collect to create “Aggregate Information”, which is aggregated and anonymized information, in order to develop statistics and analytics about our Site. We may use this Aggregate Information and share it with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyze and improve our Site and promote our business.
How We Share Information With Third Parties
- Service providers. We may share your personal information with third party companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate our Site and services (such as lawyers, bankers, auditors, insurers, and providers that assist with hosting, customer relationship management (CRM), communications, analytics, email delivery, marketing, and general database management).

DataHub uses industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we collect through the Site. However, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our Site or systems, and we, therefore, do not warrant that your safeguards will prevent the loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction of the information we collect. If we learn of any incident that may compromise the privacy or security of information we collect, we may notify you or others (including law enforcement or governmental authorities) consistent with applicable law. If you provided us with your email address, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding the privacy and security of the information we collect.
Data Retention
We may retain your personal information for as long as it is reasonably needed to maintain and expand our relationship with you; in order to comply with our legal and contractual obligations; or to protect ourselves from any potential disputes. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of such information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of such information, the purposes for which we process it, and the applicable legal requirements.
Managing Your Information
As mentioned above, you do not need to provide any personal information to us to use the Site. Please note that, prior to any response to the exercise of such rights, we may require you to verify your identity. Depending on where you reside, you may be entitled to empower an “authorized agent” to submit requests on your behalf. We will require authorized agents to confirm their identity and authority, in accordance with applicable laws. You are entitled to exercise the rights described above free from discrimination. In addition, we may have valid legal reasons to refuse your request, and will inform you if that is the case.
Tracking Technologies
We use a range of Tracking Technologies to support our business. These may include:
- Cookies are text files that websites store on a visitor’s device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser for the purpose of helping you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, enabling functionality, engaging in advertising, and helping us understand activity and patterns.

Children
We do not collect personal information from children and we do not market our Site or services to children. We define “children” as anyone under 18 years old. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will delete the information. Job applicants
When you apply for one of our open positions, we collect the information that you provide in connection with your job application. This includes but is not limited to business and personal contact information, professional credentials and skills, educational and work history, and other information that may be included in a resume or that you may provide during the interview process. This may also include demographic or diversity information that you voluntarily provide. We may also conduct background checks and receive related information. We also collect personal information from other sources where relevant for your application, such as employment research firms, recruiters, identity verification services, and information that you make publicly available on websites or social media platforms (for example, LinkedIn).
Throughout the recruitment process, we may supplement your personal information in connection with the assessment of your application. For example, we may record the views of those considering your application about your suitability for the role for which you have applied and retain interview notes. If you accept an offer from us, your personal information will be incorporated into and used as part of your employee record.
We use applicants’ information to facilitate our recruitment activities, process employment applications and personalize candidate communication, including evaluating candidates and monitoring recruitment statistics. We also use successful applicants’ information to administer the employment relationship. We may also use and disclose applicants’ information as otherwise described in his Privacy Policy and for the compliance and protection purposes described above.
Visitors Outside the United States
DataHub is established in the United States. When your data is transferred to us it will be processed in the United States and in any countries where our service providers operate their businesses. Such countries may not provide the same protections as the data protection laws where you are based. When we transfer data to these recipients, we do this on the basis of this policy, and we will ensure that relevant safeguards are in place to afford adequate protection for your personal information, and we will comply with applicable data protection laws. For example, if you are in the EEA, Switzerland, or the UK a government adequacy regulation or adequacy decision by a competent authority, on contractual protections for the transfer of your personal information or a derogation if available. We also take care to work with subcontractors and service providers who we believe maintain an acceptable standard of data security compliance..

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by updating the date of this Privacy Policy and posting it on the website.
