What is Hacktoberfest?

Hacktoberfest is an annual celebration of open-source software. It encourages developers, both new and experienced, to contribute to open-source projects on GitHub. By making a minimum of four valid PRs during October, participants can earn exclusive Hacktoberfest swag and digital rewards.

Your contributions to DataHub during October 2023 will not go unnoticed. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Hacktoberfest Digital Reward Kit: All PRs merged during October in the DataHub and DataHub Helm repositories will count toward your Hacktoberfest goal and earn you the digital reward kit.
  • Go for it and Win $250 USD Amazon Gift Card + DataHub Swag: For every PR you open in either DataHub or DataHub Helm repositories in October 2023, you’ll win a $250 USD Amazon Gift Card, along with official DataHub swag. We’ll randomly select 3 winners during the November Town Hall!
